About Us
One of the ministries of the Texas District United Pentecostal Church is Ladies Ministries. This ministry is an exciting, vibrant ministry made up of women across the Texas District. It is exciting to know that God included a place in the body for women and that we have been given freedom to work in various missions and ministries for which we have a burden.
Mission Statement
The mission of Ladies Ministries is to equip and mobilize apostolic ladies for service in the kingdom of God; to maintain a spirit of cooperation with the various ministries of the organization; to preserve apostolic doctrine; and to maintain and transmit the heritage of the past to the present and future generations through teaching and by example.
Diane Green, President
Diane has been involved in Ladies Ministries since 1999, serving as a Sectional Director, TX District Ladies Ministries Secretary and currently as TX District Ladies Ministries President. Her home is in Broaddus, Texas which is located in the lovely east Texas region surrounded by beautiful national forests and lakes. She and her husband Mark, have been married for over 45 years and have 3 children, along with their spouses and 11 wonderful grandchildren. They are blessed to pastor Broaddus Pentecostal Church for the past 26 years. She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and being Nana. Diane has had the privilege of speaking to ladies at home and abroad.
Kaylynn Strawn, Secretary
Kaylynn has served as the Pastor's Wife of the United Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro, Texas for 29 years. She is the presbyter's wife of Section 3 and enjoys meeting with other pastors' wives for devotions and fellowship. She has been involved in the Bible Quiz Ministry with her husband, Rev. Clay Strawn, for over 30 years traveling and ministering to young people. She has a degree in Nursing and works PRN at a long term care facility. She has 2 children, Noah and Faith; one daughter in law, Lindsey and 3 grandchildren, Atticus, Addyson and Annelyse. Sis. Strawn enjoys spending time with her grands, traveling, singing, and being with her family.
